quick help? HP M553 black calibration

Got one at a site, all looks perfect EXCEPT when the customer prints text in a darker 'color'. Example
Light red looks great, but dark red where is seems to mix black with magenta, you can see it looks like the black is off just a bit from the red so the characters are like double image, just enough to give it a blurry look. And it gets a bit worse as you look more towards the right of the page. Ran full calibration a few times. It's almost like the black toner is physically crooked? Is that possible?

Pure black text of course looks perfect since it's not mixing black with anything.

Any thoughts on what might make black be slightly out of calibration?

Are Genuine HP toners being used?

    Possible starting points:
    Faulty cart
    Belt

I'm not familiar with this model ... but on any other color machine I'd do a color calibration. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        * I was suspicious of the black toner too. I do know some after market ones aren't so great, I do have quite a few customers using compatibles with no issues, but this might be a funky one. The belt would be an odd thing though, since it's only black and it's 'common' to all colors. I'll try a toner, then if not, I'll post back here.

        * yes, did calibration several times.

        thanks!
