Hello Everyone

This machine has "scanner failure" on the display. I checked the error log and it shows errors 30.03.45 and 30.03.23. I have updated the firmware......no change. When It does scan to copy it leaves a 50 mm wide multicolored strip on the side of the page. I need to decide if it is the scanner itself or the scanner board. Any suggestions as the manual is not clear on which component has failed. Total meter reading is 238,000.

You can try to reseat the formatter. That's worked for me a couple of times. Beyond that, I think the scanner assembly would need to be replaced. Can't think that it would be a faulty SCB.
