    HP Design Jet T1120PS blank display

    Hi, I have a problem with HP Design Jet T1120PS blank display. LEDs on power supply and Formatter indicate bad Hard Drive. Replacement did not correct the problem. Machine just sits there after power up and blank white display shows. Anybody had this problem before?

      look at where NIC is located.... what is the light patter?

      alot of times it can be the interconnect cables to the display. or dead display

      was the firmware on HDD or did you try and reload it?

          Thank you for your reply. I got the new HD from China with firmware. The LED combo points to bad HD according to service manual.

              Had that before.
              Was bad EMod on one cables on another

                  So, what do you recomend? Replace the cable to the op panel?

                      at the price of the EMod.. I always start with the most inexpensive part.

                          I'd try another hard drive first.. LPS Computer carries them. Then try another electronics module (with the PSU), then another formatter. At least with LPS if one part doesn't solve it you can send it back for a refund.

                                  Just bought the ADF Roller Kit from AliExpress for the little POS M127's. Wouldn't trust anything else other than plastic & rubber from China.
