[Error Code] HP DesignJet T120 blue screen error code B31B1C20

Good day everyone.

I have a client with a: HP DesignJet T120 -

Displaying on bootup a Blue Screen error code B31B1C20.

Any input would be greatful.

I saw a fellow in Russia post this YouTube video:

He can be seen removing the main board & then off of the main PCB removes a USB sub board which he then connects to his Desktop PC & proceeds to Update some files (perhaps Firmware) then reinstalls them back on the T120.

I do not speak Russian so I can not correctly infer what Solution he has found.

Yes, they use a thumb drive as the hard drive for the printer firmware. From the video it appears he's using Acronis to image the thumb drive. Apparently in the notes below the video he's got a link to an image you can use.

HP's solution is to replace the main PCA as it comes with the thumb drive and firmware. I've been told it may be possible to order just the USB drive, but I have yet to find a part number for it.

CQ890-67105 - USB New Module with F/W SV

Just had to manually remove the ink carts and printhead to force a printhead replacement today. I hate these plotters.

Thanks Lance. It's odd that the parts store shows that as for the T120, but when you look up the printer by model number, it's nowhere to be found.
