Facts: OEM toner (and compatible), OEM fuser (and compatible), uptodate firmware.
When envelopes are fed through tray 1 there is no problem.

problem: When envelopes are fed through envelope feeder the print get smeared and double image.

    What media type is selected?
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Media type in tray 1 is "any type" and any size.

According to what I've read envelopes should fuse properly like 75-90gsm media. That's across several several manufacturers, including HP. High2 is too hot. When you select Any Type, you allow the printer to identify the correct media type and implement it.

You'll get very similar results from selecting too cold a media type and from selecting too hot a media type.

For me I set tray 1 for envelopes, customers computer to choose envelope. I think its going too fast through the fuser. The settings will make machine go slower and give it a bit more heat. The envelope is thicker than a piece of paper and has a fold in it so messes with the fusing of the toner. I think if you set it for envelopes and computer set to envelope you will be fine.

It has to be set to envelopes so the machine slows down and increases the fuser temp. Most of my customers that feed envelopes use the optional envelope feeder which requires an envelope size be input.
