    LaserJet M607dn 59.00.30

If any kind soul who is able to access either CSN or WISE lend me a hand?

I haven't been able to access either for going on 2 weeks and HP is pretty much pissing me off with how they are handling my case.

I'm getting this 59.00.30 error which is not in the Troubleshooting Manual I have (Edition 3, March 2020). The error appears at the end of the bootup process and the printer will not enter Service Mode so I can perform any component tests.

I've read something about this being the fuser motor, however, on the M607-M609, it looks like it's called the Fuser Drive Assembly going off of the Repair Manual exploded views (ugh......). And, it looks like it's just as much of a pain in the ass to replace as the fuser drive assembly on the CP3xxx/CP4xxx series.

I know there is a document specific to the 59.00.30 and 59.00.40, as I CAN search WISE and I found the document (ish_1693455-255916-16), however, when I click on the link, it opens a new tab and says I don't sufficient privileges' to view the document.

I tried the toner cartridge (OEM) and fuser (also OEM) from the other M607 nearby and I receive the same results.

    Thanks everyone.

Think that is a Paper Path Malfunction.
Check Feed motor (M101) failure (start-up or rotational).
Feed motor (M101) failure (start-up or rotational)1. Reconnect the connector (J191) on the feed motor and the connector (J91) on the DC controller
    PCA.
    2. Use the feed motor (M101) drive test in the Component test to verify that the motor is properly
functioning. If is not, replace the feed motor (M101).

Or it could be the fuser:
    Description
Fuser motor (M299) failure (start-up or rotational).
    Recommended action
    1. Use the fuser motor (M299) drive test in the Component test to verify that the motor is properly
functioning. If it is not, replace the fuser motor (M299).
    2. Reconnect the connector (J221) on the feed motor and the connector (J89) on the DC controller PCA.
    3. Replace the fuser motor (M299).

They change the codes between the M601 and the M630 so it may fall in this area.

Unfortunately, I can't do component testing. It won't go into Service Mode.

Yeah, I found the same info, like you said, but what you found pertains to the M601-M603 series. And what I found also said the manual is wrong. It's a fuser motor problem.

        Just an update:

Yes, the service manual for the M601-M603 is incorrect for a 59.00.30 error. Service manual says feed motor failure.

Now that I'm able to access CSN again, I looked at the latest CPMD and it shows a 59.00.30 error is a fuser motor failure.

I've got my M607 back at the shop waiting for the fuser drive assembly. Will update once it's replaced.

The fuser drive assembly resolved the issue.
