You haven't said what you have done for the machine so far, but this is from the manual. 48.00 involves the service station area. Make sure the station is securely aligned and the pen to paper space solenoid cable is connected. 86.00 refers to a carriage jamming. There could be something blocking movement just as it is parking on the service station. Running a scan axis diagnostic will help narrow down if there's a part at fault. With the machine off, hold the up & ok buttons while turning the machine on. Hold them until the power button stops flashing. Scroll down and run the scan axis test. Potential parts needed may be, carriage, belt, scan axis motor, PPS solenoid, print mech PCA, or main board. Good luck.

Please explain where is pen to paper space solenoid cable? Axis diagnostic summary is Error 42:10 and 87:11. What does that means?

42.10 says to replace scan axis motor. 87.11 says clean and reseat scan axis encoder. The PPS solenoid is on the right side upper rear frame above the scan axis motor. If you look online, you probably will be able to find a service manual for this model for cheap or even free. It will fill you in on further details.

I need more information about this issue. What was done prior to these errors occuring? Did you replace the belt first and then get these errors?

What have you removed/replaced so far?

If you get 86:01 and the carriage is not colliding with something (like the service station, ends of travel, foreign object, paper, etc,) then it's probably the encoder strip. Clean it with a wet paper towel from end to end, gently. There are tiny marks which can come off. If they have or do, you have to replace the encoder strip.

The fact you get 86:01 OR 48:xx sounds like the carriage is hitting the PPS arm. I would simply remove the PPS and see if the printer can initialize without it. I've never once seen a bad PPS but anything is possible.

Have a look at this post about how to see if the encoder strip is damaged.
