HP T1700 Remove Paper from Sheet Path

Is there a Calibration for the Sheet Sensor? There isnt any paper in that area. Also is there a access code to get into the Service mode?

There is in fact a sheet sensor calibration in the service menu. The manual explains the process for getting to the service menu.
