I have downloaded all 4 files from HP website, loaded them on a stick and extracted the zip file there but, it will not load. What is the actual procedure????

Here's the instructions for another HP wide format (Latex 700) in an attachment; I think all the wide format models follow a similar procedure if they require a multi-file firmware download.
I think this document came from a coworker who got it from HP somewhere/somehow. HP sure doesn't make it simple! On my company laptop that is running Windows 11, I have to use 7-Zip to do this.Attached Files -
If I remember correctly there's a separate utility to combine the four files into a single firmware file. It's in the same location as you found the firmware. If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Reading that PDF, it's just a spanned ZIP file. Easily "put back together" as long as you download all of the parts and use 7-Zip or WinRAR. It's pretty much the same as doing:
copy /b file1.txt + file2.txt + file3.txt file4.txtComment
