    DesignJet T2300 eMFP

Well I'm way out of my realm of expertise with this machine!
(I'm pretty much exclusively Ricoh MFP's)
It's never needed anything but Ink and paper since I acquired the customer a few years ago, so that's all I've ever really done for them.

They contacted me last week about an issue when scanning (which they hardly ever do), and sent me a sample.
It showed some yellow lines running lengthwise through the scan, and without paying much more attention, and being a "copier guy", I told them the scanner probably just needed a cleaning.
I happened to be in their office a couple of days later for another issue, and they'd not even gotten around to trying to clean it, so I did, and not surprisingly, it made no difference, because once I saw how wide the stripes actually were, and that there was also a 'pinkish' background on the page, it was obvious that it was something else.

This happens with colour scans and copies, but B&W is fine.

It seems to me that there is likely an issue with the scanner itself or harness?
But maybe this is something that someone has seen before that may have some insight on?

    Thanks in advance!

I would run the scanner calibration. If the calibration sheet was lost (comes rolled up in a tube,) the part number is CN727-69006. HP still has them, they're $100.

Back in 2018, I had to replace a couple of the CIS Elements on a T2300 for blue lines when scanning. Had to resort to eBay as I couldn't get them ANYWHERE else.

      Part #: CR359-67024

Like Kiran said, you'll need the calibration sheet after replacing the elements.

I managed to get hold of a service manual, and was reading up about just that, and how to test them individually.
        That sounds like the issue.
I'll check it out in the coming days.
I have a feeling they may just use black and white for the few times they use the scanner.

I didn't see a mention about the Calibration sheet. I'll have to have a closer look.
        Thanks for the advice!
