Re: DJ800 print on thin chipboard boxes
I'm going to make an educated guess that would be about 540gsm for a single layer. I've certainly never tried any media that heavy, and doubt very much that it will pass. If these boxes are pre-glued, that means there are at least two layers of 0.022 caliper, or 0.044. There may be rough edges where the glue seams occur (and an additional layer, so in some places three layers).
Now how about porosity? Will it bleed? My prediction is, if you purchase this media you'll end up printing self-adhesive labels to stick on the boxes (because the boxes will jam, twist, skew, rip, bleed, etc). =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

My theory is that if you can get the printer to load it, you can print on it. But beyond normal roll-fed media, I have no idea if it will actually work.
