hp 3600n printer prints only in Megenta and poor black quality prints

I repaired the broken parts on the left side of the printer. All the mechanical parts are working properly. I do not get any errors on the screen. However, when you turn it on it calibrates for 45 minutes! I assume when you do a print quality test, each color should print out a letter size sheet. At least that is what I am thinking. If it was the high voltage board I would think it would not print a page at all.

I checked the connections on all the boards and laser unit. Obviously I am missing something. I have attached a file that contains the prints of the PQ test. Which shows what I am missing.

Thanks for giving this your time and attention.

Missing the Cyan and Yellow make sense.

Did you check the main drive alignment and right side plastics I mentioned. I know it's a lot of work and a pain, but, if the main drive isn't aligned, you'll be missing colors. There is also the Developing Seperation Drive (RM1-2687) which has two solenoids that are probably sticky. This part also has to be aligned correctly.

trivial question; are the cartridges good? I would also clean the laser.

I thought I checked and aligned the gears properly. I did check the plastic parts and they are ok. I don't have a alignment procedure for the RM1-2787, and I question the one I used for the main assy. I am going by the HP Service Manual. Lance do you have access to the proper alignment procedure of the Separation Drive? I am about to take the gears apart again and check alignment. But this separation drive has me concerned that it is misaligned.

Thank you so much for all your help.

There isn't a guide for aligning the developing drive assembly. I didn't even try that one. I ordered a new one. However, like the main drive, the gears have little holes that need to line up.

Wish I could be more help, but that just scared me. I wasn't sure if I would be able to align it, much less get it back together.
