HP Designjet T7100 paper error occurs

    Hello,
    can anybode help please?
    Designjet starts normal without problem.
When initial is finish and open frontcover to change
printhead, the carriage is working bad.
The linear movement appears to be heavy,
but the guidance is clean and oiled.
If the carriage is moved by hand,
    there is no noticeable obstacle.
    Paper jam trouble is displayed.

Yikes. If I had to guess, the belt is either not installed at the back of the carriage correctly, or the back of the carriage is broken and allowing the belt to slip. Try moving the carriage while holding onto the belt and see if it slips. If it does, then check where it threads through at the carriage.

And make sure the tensioner is fully tightened.

The tensioner is spring-mounted and at the strongest level.
The carriage can be moved quickly by hand without any problems.
Could it be an Axis motor problem?

Make sure you can NOT move the carriage independent of the belt.

Doesn`t slip and back of carriage is not broken. belt is correctly threads through the carriage. There`s nothing to fix.

Alright, thank you for verifying it's not the belt/carriage. I don't think the motor is at fault because in my experience they never fail, but that doesn't mean it's bad. But I would suspect it last. Can you run the carriage axis test and see what happens?

Is there any excessive play in the carriage?

When was the belt replaced last? Is it a belt from HP or China?

I would suspect the belt then if it's not genuine. It also appears to have a lot of slack in it based on the video. I would get a genuine belt first before throwing other parts at it.

Did you clean the timing pulley on the carriage motor. I've seen the rubber shavings from the old belt pack into the grooves of the timing pulley, making it slip. I don't think that I've ever seen a failed carriage motor. I've changed a few carriage motors, and it did not solve my issue. =^..^=
