    lj 2600 fuser offset

Hello, Ive got a printer that is reprinting and tracking down the page like classic fuser offset with scaley spots. it is mostly down the left and right sides, not down center when you print things other than the cleaning page . all 4 colors are doing it with a config page. the word cleaning page tracks off down the center when you run that. is that normal? I can run a cleaning page and it tracks itself clean and will print good for a couple prints. it has one aftermarket cartridge (cyan) and three hp carts. the page count is 22k, fuser looks spotless. is this the type of copy quality issue you get from mixing oems and artermarkets or could this be a temperature failure of the fuser. thanks for your thoughts

I have seen those fail early. As a matter of fact it is my only work order on that model. I bet prntrfxr will give good info. I know she does a lot of HP.

These do have a fuser problem , but try to update the firmware, even if current. If you are seeing a burnt look on the page, H/V is bad.
