    HP 4014N Fuser Code 50.7

    Printer has Fuser Code 50.7.
    I pulled a fuser from a working printer and tested in the bad one it still gave me the same code. I then took the Low Volt power supply board from the working printer and put it into the bad one and it still gives me the same code...

    anyone knows where I should look next.

      It might be good to get yourself this manual as you will probably see this printer again. Here's what the service manual says about this error:

      50.X FUSER ERROR
      For help press
      A fuser error has occurred. The values for X
      are listed below.
      ● 50.1: Low fuser temperature
      ● 50.2: Fuser warm-up service
      ● 50.3: High fuser temperature
      ● 50.4: Faulty fuser
      ● 50.5: Inconsistent fuser (verify voltage
      model)
      ● 50.6: Open fuser
      ● 50.7: Pressure release mechanism
      failure

          The problem was the dc control board. Change out the controller board test ok
