    HP 9040

Have this printer that had the diverted gate that broke. All plastic was very brittle. Figured since it had over a million copies that heat and time got to it. Replaced diverter unit in left side door. That lasted two weeks and was for same thing! Replacing unit again along with fuser Monday. Any one see this before? Thanks for reading

HP did not use heat resistant plastic for these parts and the fusers put out a good deal of heat. Eventually it will happen again, butid you install OEM or refurb diverter?
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".
