Yep... Both fusers are off, one isnt heating up in the expected time interval (bad heater, blown thermal fuse, bad thermistor... or not getting power from DC, tho doubt your prob is the dc controller). honestly if your not very experienced taking these apart, you can forget this one, its prolly a worn thermistor anyways.
Other one has a problem with the rollers pressure release mechanism... prolly lack of a nice good o'l lube...
If theres any broken gear or something... you can prolly of the 2 of them, make 1 :P
Points at post above... you should consider havin a manual for that machine... it can give ya some hairy problems... not often but...
If you dont wanna/cant spring off an OEM easily, and want to try to pass by with those, let us know and i'll try to help ya giving some pointers into refurbing those two to at least have a useable one...

Yes, they are refurbs. One worked for about 2 weeks and is now giving a 50.1 error, and the other is giving a 50.7 error, right out of the box. Reinstalled it 3 times before it worked, but only for one day. Went there today, reinstalled the 1st refurb and still got 50.1, reinstalled 2nd refurb and started working....for about 5 minutes then got 50.7 again. Two different errors, I still think it's the fuser. Think I'll spring for an OEM and see what happens. Thanks..... I'll let you know. Jeff M.

Check the latches that secure the fuser. I seem to recall that if the latches aren't holding, simply driving the fuser can disengage the modular connector.

    prntrfxr, do you have anything?

Are they refurbs? I have had 2 in a row be defective. I thought the same thing Power board? but it wasnt. Get an oem or try another refurb. You could check ac to fuser.

    4700 50.7 error

Have a 4700, replaced fuser about 2 weeks ago because it was worn, customer called 2 days ago saying it had a 50.8 error. I went there, shut the machine off then on. Reinstalled fuser, no luck. Replaced fuser today, immediately came up with 50.1. Reinstalled fuser 3 times, then it worked. Customer called later saying it is 50.7 error. DC controller? No a lot of experience with this model, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks..... Jeff M.
Working...
