[Dead] 3000 Sheet Stapler/Stacker no power LED

Greetings all,

I'm trying to troubleshoot an HP 8085A stapler stacker that doesn't power up. I've purchased and replaced the power supply and still have no power to the unit. Does anyone have a suggested next step or part to replace? I was thinking the stapler/stacker PCA would be the next piece to try. Any advice is appreciated.

I would say you are probably on the right track. Providing you know your source voltage is good and that the switch isn't broken (you changed it so that shouldn't be a problem). You could test the connector going into the controller and make sure power is going to it. The power supply sends a signal to the controller and then the power is supplied to the rest of the unit.
