[CQ] Laserjet p4015 duplex copy quality

I have a LJ P4015 that is putting a excess toner on the right side of the the paper when duplexing. It doesn't do it on single sided printing. It looks like it should be a fuser problem but I replaced that and it didn't fix it. I've also replaced the toner cartridge, duplexer, and transfer roller.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would definatlty upgrade the firmware first; I have had to many strange problems.

Man, I just don't see it being a firmware issue.

Is your toner cartridge dumping toner in the duplexer? Duplex copies would then get dunked in a pile of toner while passing through. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Using aftermarket parts or OE? We had a problem with parts now transfer rollers doing that on the 9050, changing to the OE transfer roller took care of the problem.

Blackcat- I replaced both the cartridge and the duplexer and neither helped.
ucinn- I don't think the transfer roller is OEM that I put in. I'll order one OEM and see if that's it. I noticed the original transfer roller was dirtier than usual.

Here's an example of what it's doing. The mark goes down the left side of the paper.

Lets see, you replaced the fuser, the duplexor and the toner cartridge all the things you would think would fix it. Next is to try the transfer roller.
Regarding the Firmware: I only mentioned the firmware to eliminate it . I have had problems with jamming wierd error codes and the like so its just a good thing to do even if its not the problem on this model.

Did you replace the transfer with OEM yet? That's what our 9050's looked like except a little darker.

Try yet another toner cartridge. I've seen a few HP's that left toner on the edge only on heavy stock or duplex that turned out to be a bad drum.

I found the problem. It ended up being the after market transfer roller I had put in it. I replaced it with an OEM transfer roller and the line went away. Thank you for all the input everyone and especially ucinn.
