We have 3 HP4100 printers installed at a bank. 1 of these is not fully fusing the toner onto the page. The print quality is good but there is a slight double image or ghost image at the bottom of the page and if you rub a clean sheet of paper on the printed page the the toner rubs off too easily. Plain paper and the heat setting was set to normal. We replaced the fuser with a new unit with no change. I changed the fuser heat setting to high1 and even tried a page on high2 with no change. Checked all connectors and the fuser itself and I can not see anything wrong.
Could this be a board issue? The customer is using a generic cartridge. The other printers work fine with the cartridges.
Thanks
