    HP 3005

    memory failure replace Dimm.



    Ok, replaced Dimm, also replaced DC controller and Formatter! still locks up and gets error. anyone know what the solution is??


    thank you for any help I can get.

      Did you replace the firmware DIMM or expansion memory DIMM? Conceivable either one could cause this error. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          And they are NOT interchangeble.

              i replaced the Memory dimm, -- from what i can see the printer has no removable Firmware dimm, I think once you replace the DC controller it is priority for that printer only.
