Exposure lamp problem ? cause of this error 1. Defective scanner PWB. 2.Defective exposure lamp or inverter PWB. 3.Incorrect shading position poor . 4.poor contact of the connector terminals Solutions:- 1. Replace the scanner PWB and check for correct operation. 2. Replace the exposure lamp or inverter PWB. 3.Adjust the position of the contact glass (shading plate). If the problem still occurs, replace the scanner home position sensor. 4.Check the connection of connector YC7 on the scanner PWB, and the continuity across the connector terminals. Repair or replace if necessary.

Matsuri are known for Main Board failures, specifically causing C3200 errors and black copies and scans. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Could this be a simple scanner lock engaged? Or filty optics/white reference?
