Lexmark E260dn ready light is red on power

I have an lexmark e260dn with the ready light showing a solid red light when the printer is turned on. Printer doesnt warm up, there are no noises coming from it, and the PC doesnt even recognize it trough the USB...

    Help, please?

If you double-click the Continue button (green button with the "Play" icon), does it show another light pattern?

Would guess electronic issue. Main PCB, LVPS etc.

Are you able to get into diagnostic mode (usually holding down the 3 and 6 when powering up)?
There you can get a fault log that may point to the problem.

The E260 doesn't have a "num pad". Only two buttons (Continue & Cancel).

It looks like a fatal error. I'm thinking formatter.

Does this unit have an accessory tray installed? If it does, remove it. Get it down to the base unit. Remove all cables except the power cable.

I've seen where accessory trays cause problems.

Thank you, I don't have a current manual.
