MX611de with error 111.30 ("printhead error")

Customer dropped off MX611de with error 111.30. Says printhead error. I am in the meantime searching SM download
but wondering if just a supply item problem like drum or toner cartridge identification. Any information is very much appreciated. Frank

nope..it's the printhead ( laser - LSU )

Thank you Phil. I forgotto mention that hen customer called he said he had a lift motor error #146. When he brought macine to me I did id not see the error #146 bit only the 111.30 after turning on machine during warmup cycle. Thought I would mention in case it has significance. Frank

Just one other question Phil. What is the possibility that it is controller board and not LSU as mentioned in SM?

i've never had that be the issue... always been LSU

HI Phil Sorry to bug you again. I ordered the LSU which supposedly was 40X8079. It Looks different in shape from one in machine. The one in machine

has a 12 pin connector and a 5 pin connector whereas the new one has 10 pin connector as well as a 7 pin connector. The machine I am working on

says MX611DE. The front door when opened has label that says 7016-670 and ser #7016 5PHH 06PZ2 The back label says Model 040J MX611DE.

The LSU in machine has label that says 35S4420. New one says 35S3553. In meantime I will contact Item Inc where I purchase LSU to see if

they can shed some light on this problem. Thank you for your assistance. Frank

there are 2 LSU's for those models IF I remember correctly. talk to Whit he should work with you on this

Nah. This is a mono machine. One LSU.

Nah. This is a mono machine. One LSU.

no Sir there are TWO different models of the MONO LASER for this machine.. you have to determine the proper LSU via the serial number.
