    [Misc] Lexmark MX812 Copies slow.

Lexmark MX812 making less 65 copies per min. Makes 60 per minute. They have a
similar machine that is working at correct speed.

I was in a rush and didn't get a 'printer settings report' for each machine to see the difference.

1)If machine is ECO mode or
2)If machine is set for Noise Reduction
Would those setting slow machine down.

Any other settings or faults to look for?

    Thanks for any help.

    Re: Lexmark MX812 Copies slow.

had a customer yesterday tell me the machine was running slow. i asked if they leave it on all the time or turn it off each evening when not in use. they always leave it turned on. i rebooted the copier and response was much faster than before the reboot. also suggested they shut it off at night when not in use.

I haven't gotten back to account, he has past due invoices; so I don't think I'll find out if checking/changing the settings will work.

        Thanks.

It will also depend on the paper type settings. Heavy Paper or other paper types will slow the machine down too in addition to the settings already mentioned.
