    Lexmark MS810dn

Hi. I have a Lexmark MS810dn with a flashing (or blinking) display. It prints fine and the keyboard does allow you to navigate. I did re-seat all the connectors. Any known fixes or suggestions much appreciated. Thanks!

      Buy a Toshiba eStudio 409s!

Lexmark never plays nice with old, discontinued models.

Thanks for the reply. It would not allow me to update the firmware due to the op panel flashing.

I have had to replace the op panel on these machines. Just to have the issue come back several months later It's a PITA. I would leave it alone, unless the end user is complaining about it.

I tried the op panel and agree, it is a PITA. Tried the main pcb and power supply as well. The end user is complaining because he thinks it is the beginning of something bigger. This is the third of this model at the place here that it has happened. It will wind up being replaced more than likely.

if it's only at the location i would look at the power situation. sometimes when the power isn't as it should be you get flashing on the screen, sometimes you get lines.
