    lexmark xm1342

Hi. i have a lexmark XM1342, which keeps having a non responsive touch screen. i have updated firmare, reseated all cable to main pwb.
the screen works ok for awhile (3 days to a couple of weeks). Just wondering if anyone has come across this problem.

if you have to replace the touch screen. make sure you do not replace any other boards until that process is complete.

Other than that, is it just a straightforward swap.

... and firmware. Always firmware when you're changing a board.

Also be cautious with the ribbon cables. They're easy to mess up. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          +2 on the cables.

had a tech booger up cables on two different boards. Boss was NOT happy.
