Re: ricoh spc830dn and mpc3502/4502 fuser units
I have heard rumors that the fuser lamps are different in the C3502 and C4502. You can use the C4502 and C5502 fusers in the SP C830dn. The C3502/C3002 fuser may have compatibility issues and not last long.
MPC4502/5502 you can fit all kits from the SPC830, so PCDU, transfer, fuser/PTR
MPC4502/5502, change the complete connector assembly, easiest way to do it is take all the external covers off, unplug the lamp wiring from both sides and 3 screws (1 x earth screw and 2 x plug screws) swap them over and put covers back on and your done.
As for the MPC3002/3502, you do the same as above along with replacing the base plate of the fuser due to the fact when the fuser locks into the device, on the 3002/3502 it is located in a different spot and your done.
MP5000/5001/5002 will fit the Maintenance Kit A and B from the SP8200
MPC4500 you can fit any of the maintenance Kits from a SPC811dn, so PCDU, transer, fuser/PTR
MPC5000/5501 you can fit the SPC820dn maintenance kits in, so PCDU and transfer units are no problem, the MPC5000 will take the SPC820 fuser but wont fit in the MPC5501sigpicAnything can be made to work if you fiddle with it long enough- San Diego Copier Repair.comComment
