Looking for DF for Kyocera FS-C8520.

Looking for a working DF from a Kyocera FS-C8520. I believe the FS-6525 is also the same DF.

    Thanks,
    Doug

Make sure that the frame isn't broken out at the left hinge. It happens on all of them eventually.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Blackcat, do you mean the 303M802015 Base DP?

I wondered if I would be better off replacing the base and transferring everything over.

      Thanks!

It's a couple of hours work, but you'll have a high likelihood of ending up with a working DP. Any used whole DP that you buy will be broken where the left hinge attaches. It's the same DF-470 on the FS-6525, or the FS-8020 or the Alphard KM-2551C, except with charcoal colored covers.

Note: there are a bunch of mylars that you will not get, and are difficult to recover from the old one.

I had wonderful success using plastic epoxy on the broken hinge base on many M3655idns & DP7110's
I am talking years without any issues.

*Of course, this is for the machines out of warranty and on contract.
