Fuser heating lamp for vintage Xerox 4000 copier

    Hi,

I have a vintage Xerox 4000 copier from 1973, and I wanted to know if anyone know if there is possible to buy a fuser lamp for the Xerox 4000 copier somewhere?

Not sure if The PartsDrop is still around but I use to buy xerox parts from them. If they don't have it no one will!

Also there used to be a lamp cross reference chart that showed other OEM lamps that are same length, etc. You can still use a different lamp even if wattage is a little different but length the same.

Back in the old days when fuser lamps started to have connectors on end of lamps instead of direct contact we were always matching up lamps from other OEM's. The connectors were to prevent pitting from arcing when contact was direct to end of lamp. Remember many times filing the slag off the contacts to borrow more time.....
