Sharp SF-7370 upper DV seal. Old, I know.

I'm looking for the part number for the seal that goes on the top part of the DV mag brush that prevents toner dusting of the #1 corona and the final mirror just above the drum (#5 or #6 mirror?). If I remember correctly, the seal comes attached to an aluminum plate as one piece and screws on to the top of the DV unit. Thanks in advance for any help. Grandma just isn't ready to let this machine go yet.

I don't think you can get it even if you have a part number can you? I'd try to make one out of a toner seal from the 200TD cartridge or a cougar DV blade. I should be able to get you a part number tomorrow.
    Hope that helps !

Thanks Tony. I'm unemployed at the moment and don't have access to the old SharpNet any longer. The IDNC site doesn't appear to have the parts channel on it or at least not through my old log in. Also, IDNC doesn't support "legacy" devices like the SF series. Any chance you can check avialability and give me a price? If I can order it from you, that would be great. Thanks again.

tmaged is right. Ive done this before and it works fine, and on other models too. I might have a couple of these seals lying around somewhere. I'll look around when I get home next week. (In class this week.) On some of these old dinosaurs parts are impossible to get... =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              DV Seal

The number for the SF-7370 seal is UCLEZ 0079 FCZZ. Believe it or not I still have one in stock.

I know everyone is busy. Haven't heard back from Phil. I'm still interested in purchasing these two parts. Anyone?
