    Toshiba estudio 455 motor

Any idea what the motor in the photo is supposed to go in?

Looks like a main motor from estudio 255 and others...was told it was from a estudio 355 though.

... several years ago Toshiba Tec Japan halted all support on this model series. Do yourself a favor and ditch this model and upgrade the copier to something more recent.

From what I recall, the main drive motor on a eS455 looks like this. As they got older and the developing unit got more difficult to drive, I've seem the helical pinion gear strip, making a LOUD clicking noise. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

as it turns out our account had a eStudio 355 in their basement from an office that was closed.

They brought that to their office on their own. Machine had a couple of problems so we just took the main motor out of it.

We had ordered a used motor off the internet...was trying to return it. The motor we were sent is different.

In the photo with the 2 motors, the 1 on the left was what we took out originally. The other photo was from the eStudio 355 before we took it out.

Working on selling them a replacement Ricoh copier.

Lower speed models have different motor than 355/455. However it looks like 356/456 motor is the same if you have any.
