Thanks for the quick reply... ZOOTECH.
RPLU-0008QSZ1 is a paper stop solenoid and RPLU-0008QSZZ is a PLUNGER.. that can't possible be the same.. is it?

??? Well, the naming of parts is not always precise and the "plunger" is more expensive than the "solenoid, ps"??? So I cannot say for sure that they are the same.

Yeah, you're right! I think I might go ahead and take that risk and order it. who knows it might just do that job.
That's the way Sharp updates part numbers RPLU-0008QSZZ updates to RPLU-0008QSZ1 (and if it updated again it would be RPLU-0008QSZ2). The paper stop solenoid is the "registration" solenoid, and I have replaced a few of those over the years.
Like Zootech says, disregard the naming convention. The exposure lamp has been called a "lump" unit, and the developer drive called "deveroper" drive, and calibration called "carbeuration". Sharp translators faired Engrish crass. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

All were great info! Thank you for all the helpful information. I appreciate it!
I have another question... RPLU-0008QSZ1 is for a AR-M207... and I found RPLU-0008QSZZ on a AR-M160 service manual. Do you know if those two machine is compatible as for parts? in other words do you think RPLU-0008QSZZ would work on a AR-M207?

Thank you again!
My parts guide shows the ARM160 has the RPLU-0008QSZ1 as does the ARM207. The ARM160 is the same for most parts as the ARM205; the ARM207 is the same for most parts as the ARM162. Some parts are interchangeable across the Pegasus family.

Most mechanical parts will be the same. Electronics, like boards and motors will be different. =^..^=
