    [CQ] BH500 vertical lines PRINT ONLY

    Appreciate your help.

    On a bizhub 500 I have the intermittent vertical lines (as per attachment) only in printouts.
    Copies are just fine.

    Any suggestions ?

      i would check the drum surface, can you print a blank 11x17 or A3 to see if the marks repeat?
      We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

          Had the exact same thing on a bh 283.
          No (obvious)marks on drum but changing the drum resolved the issue.
          After 20-30k exactly the same,only guess was that the dev tank was causing it.
          Changed the drum again and haven't had a problem since.Weird.
          Try to swap a drum from another machine if possible.
          I don't like the new copier I just bought. It says "put face down" but every time I do it, it blinds my eyes.

              After checking drum.....i would check the laser assembly
