Km 421 administrator password locked

    Km 421 administrator password locked

    Hi.
    Machine bh 421 could not enter to admin mode . password 12345678 doesn't access. i can't change it from service mode, machine freeze after enter code.

    Machine version is 21, I read some posts about the problem and I need files from compact flash card from working machine version 13.

    Maybe someone can send me it..

      It seems to me that there were only 6 digits to the 421 Admin password. Try 6 digits. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Problem
          Unable to access Administrator Mode. Password fails. When attempting to change the default admin password the machine will also lock up.


          Solution
          CAUSE: Information is corrupt on the CF Card.

          SOLUTION: Please perform the following procedure depending on model.
          • For the bizhub 361/421/501

          1. Load Base CF Card Recovery Firmware.
          2. Install firmware version 11 or 13 via USB drive.
          3. Enter Service Mode.
          4. Enter Stop, 0, Clear.

          5. Change the default admin password to 12345678.
          6. Exit Service Mode and verify that you can enter Administrator Mode.
          7. Proceed to flash to the latest version of firmware.
          We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
          The medication helps though...

              I also had this issue on the old bizhub 601 /751's it was a dead give away the cf was corrupted.

                  i disliked anything to do with the CF cards, i started doing firmware via FTP on my laptop instead.
                  We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
                  The medication helps though...

                              I had the same problem, and I have the v. 13 firmware .
