C554e and C554 operating panel
Has anyone succesfully swapped operating panels between these two devices?
Are they compatible? Schematics shows yes.

Not sure if the firmware would support the on screen keypad if you are downgrading.
Don't think there should be much trouble if you are using the non e series screen on an e series machine.

I was just going to mention the firmware. I just this week installed an 'e' series panel, and found it inoperative until I re-loaded the firmware. Apparently the new panel was at an incompatible firmware level. If one were to read the destructions that come with the new panel, one would also come to that conclusion.
Will a C554 work on a C554e? No idea. Try it. Then immediately do the firmware. If it fails I think that will answer your question. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

there is no firmware on the panels when new thats why you have to load it when a new one is installed and tell it english and i think machine typeComment
