    bizhub 223 QUESTION

    Hello
    I'd like to if it is possible to copy a firmware from the copier using the usb flash
    thank you in advence

      yes however you leave the .tar file as is, the copier will decompress it itself.

      wait, you want to copy FW FROM the copier to a USB? no thats a negative.
      We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

          You may not copy the firmware from a functioning machine. It is not possible. That goes for all manufacturers, all models AFAIK. =^..^=
          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              nope ... one way operation only

              haven't met a brand of O.E. that is possible on... and I've serviced just about all of the big ones.. ( not many rebrands )
