    C360i with error C-2204

    Got a client with this error on a 5k count C360i any1 something about this i changed waste toner box already cleaned the sub, belt always display the error

    Any loud noises associated with the code? Maybe check the bulletin in this thread:

    I-Series Clogged Transfer Belt Cleaning Unit Bulletin.
    A Ricoh Service Tech for 7 year. A Konica Minolta Service Tech for 7 years. Now, KM service manager for 4 years.
    My Ricoh knowledge is slowly dwindling away at this point. Many things have been lost to time...

      no noises nothing just pop up the error
      i just cut some spring for prevent that happens its not that problem when machines go to clients

        seen this on a few newish I-series machines and this specific post was the fix for me. direct link below:

        i series toner backup (copytechnet.com)

        "That code is related to the arm on the bottom left where the box goes not returning fast enough. Extra turn on its return spring cures that."

            Take the sensor out from the waste box area on the left and bend the spring. Its too weak. Cures it everytime. There is a bulletin on this. I just did this the other day. You may notice the lever is slow .

              Forgot about that arm. That should get you back up and running. We did have one machine with this issue about a month ago that had slipped my mind. Spring had completely popped off the arm and was giving that error. I'm sure with the number of I-series we have out there that there will be more.
