    C257i jams when FS-533 fitted

    Hi,

    I have a c257i jamming on double sided when fs533 is fitted.
    Any ideas pls?

      thats pretty vague, got a jam code by chance?
      We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

          It just looks like the paper hits the finisher when exiting the body just before going back in for the second side

              Make sure that the exit rollers are turning easily. You'll get these symptoms when the machine exit rollers seize.

              What happens when you set the media type to heavy? Does it feed? =^..^=
              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                  It works perfectly fine without the finisher
                  I am just wondering if it needs another additional unit installed to make it work with the main body

                      No, but it does need the exit rollers to be able to turn. =^..^=

                          Exit rollers are fine.
                          just strange that there is only one exit so there is no duplex exit for double sided...

                                      Hmm I have installed mk602 but didn't know it needs mk603 as well.
