    Mounting FS-536 to C-458

    20230816_122501.jpg20230816_122519.jpg

I want to mount an FS-536 to an C-458. I found the obove mount kits. In the left (C-308) is no possibility to lock the finisher. In the right one are front and behind lapons for locking but I don't know how to fix it on the copy machine. Please help, thanks advanced.

You have to use the big bracket. screw onto side of machine using 4 longer screws. Roll finisher up to it and there is a slider inside front door to secure finisher to bracket. See attached install instructions

Just so you are aware, the brackets in the first picture (2 individual ones) are incomplete. The part that the finisher actually locks into is missing on each one.

In the meantime I've found the missing parts to lock the finisher. I marked their place:

Is this way for the smaller machines and the FS-534?

It's is probably the mounting brackets for an early version of the FS-534. Later they changed it to the "big bracket" that is used for the FS-536.

I'm not able to mount the big bracket. With the two small one it's no problem.

Is the wheel cover from FS-536 dark grey and form FS-534 light grey? (I know there is a type labe on the behind cover)

                please explain "cannot mount".
the 2 covers that are on there now go in the trash.
4 holes, 4 screws one big bracket.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
                The medication helps though...

                    you sure did!!!

                    same for the other side.

the 2 metal covers shown 2nd pic get thrown away, they dont belong.

also, if there was a 537 mounted previously then in the exit area of the bridge unit there is an extra spring loaded guide flappy plate that must be removed prior to mounting a 536.

Now I found the correct holes. Not so easy when you take it twice.

Is there another label inside, to be shure it's a FS-536 and no FS-534?

If the label on the cover is missing, there are a few other ways to tell which finisher it is. The 534 should have a grey wheel cover and the 536 should have a black. If you REALLY want to be sure, you can pull the back cover off the finisher and take a look at the control board. Printed on one of the edges of the board will be the model of the finisher that the board goes to, either F534 or F536. It's printed right above the serial number sticker that is attached to the board.

                          Thanks! Now I'm shure, it's a FS-536!
