Was the C10 asking for any units to be changed prior to this indication...sounds like it is trying to carry out a calibration.
Please do not PM me without asking first.

No, costumer had just turned it on and no other msg than "Please wait".
I tried to wait 10 min but msg was still there. I tried to power it off/on several times but it just starts engine, rotate whats supposed to rotate, I hear fans starting, just like normal. But msg say Please wait. So like jprecht I think it is fw or some electronical problem. I`ll try fw rewrite tomorrow.

not familiar with this one but almost all bizhubs have a service pcb with two pins you short to re-initialize short pins cheat door sw depress service trouble reset button hold it down while turning on copier wait 10 sec, release i would try this first . good luck!!!

the fuser is fed via a microswitc h operated by a plunger/on left side top covercheck pivot point ofthis operating lever--it breaks--and replace the switch (same as front door switch on 7033/7045)
you wll kiss goodbye to 2 hours for this.(follow change fuser instructions for access)
                  happy copying peter

Your spot on with the ccd/lamp assembly, just had a tech memo saying this is probable cause of please wait message. Go for it!!!
