[CQ] Printing quality c5235 c5255 with fiery.

    Hello Again

My problem now with another c5235 is when we try to print with UFR DRIVER. 3 photo files of 10 MB each one. It says processing for a long time and then it shows a message that was an error during the printing.

What can it be the cause? Because this machines should support this file size.

And also I have been told of the fiery quality. That would be better. But I have got a c5255 with b2 fiery and the problem is that when we print with the driver, it take longer than ufr ii, is it normal?

    Thank you in advance

Both devices should be able to print a 10MB file easily even without a Fiery.

I would start by updating the system software on the copier first see if that improves.

Hello, does the printer have server b2? If it has a B2 server, you must install the driver for imagepass b2, the most current one that you can get on the official Canon website.

If you are wanting to print with UFR, you must disable the server in COPIER-OPTION-INTERFACE-0 service mode. Then enter the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway. When you download the driver from the official Canon UFR2 site that ends in LT

Yes I have done that but, the problem I noticed is that using the b2 driver for the same file takes longer to print than another machine without the fiery server and using ufr I driver. My question is if that is normal to happen.

It is not normal for it to take a long time to print with the B2 server, try updating the server system. If the problem persists also in the ufrII driver option, update the firmware and check the ram memories.

Well not exactly reload the firmware, you can simply update it.

Either via the service mode or we can supply it for you to update via USB pen drive.
