i dont see how they could ever be even remotely close.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

OEM's will make machines for each other but Xerox usually sticks with their own design except sometimes with small machines. Don't think Xerox and Kon/Min ever "shared" a machine.

So to answer your question NO these toners are NOT interchangeable

Not sure if I understand your post or you understood mine? Like I posted Xerox only used other OEM's "smaller" models. The bigger designs are their own!

Absolutely, like oil and gas, all of these toners come from one very large mountain of toner. All the manufactures do is slap a different sticker on it and charge different rates..in fact you can just pour very fine beach sand in the bottle. IT WILL WORK!!! fun fact. E

I disagree. Not all toners have developer mixed in like Konica Minolta toners have.

Also not sure about other OEM's but some toners use to be charged neg and some pos so that would create a problem with image process if wrong toner used?

I had a Xerox owner that bought Konica Minolta toner for his machines because its cheaper and seemed to work just fine....
                Think it was TN319 CMY.

Its risky stuff doing these things but for the dry electrostatic process to work there must be similarities and if the toner dev mix falls with in the same development band it will work. But if not then you will have all kinds of trouble.
                Whatever
