Bizhub C364e Internal Error After Printing (From Copier And From PC)

When we send print jobs, the machine allows the print job to finish, then goes into an error state, saying "Internal error has occurred"" and has no error code. This will happen when printing meter sheets locally, as well as when printing from a PC using different drivers, so it doesn't look like drivers would be the issue. We initialized and updated the firmware, and put on our standard config, and it is still producing this error. Why could this be happening?

    Thanks

disable the HDD and see if it still happens
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

Have you gone into service mode and looked for the error(s) in the history? The "internal error has occurred" statement shows up when auto error clear is enabled. You will never see the error show on the screen when this is enabled. You need to either disable this "feature" in service mode, or look at the error history in service mode to figure out what the error code is and then you can go from there to diagnose the problem.

Does the device restart after displaying the 'internal error' message? Have a look in CE mode at the error history.

Often see the C255x errors relating to toner / dev unit issues

Thank you! It ended up being a simple problem once I was able to disable that and reveal the code. Definitely keeping this in my back pocket!

            What was the problem?
Apparently you need some training on KMs if you are interested here is the best place
