[Error Code] Error code C2163/4 on biz hub C552

Dear all
I have an error code C2163 and C2164 on bizhub C552
I have tried changing the black drum ,also I have tried changing HV1 and he PRCB
but all have no worked some help

Did you ever resolve that error code? I just got that code and I guess I'll start with a drum unit maybe the developer also!

I have exactly the same problem with c552. And i replaced yellow image. Hv1 and prolinter control board .anny sujestin

Have you checked the high voltage contacts for corrosion or arcing? Have you ran a system error clear? Otherwise, you've covered most of the possibilities.

If i disconnect this connector system starts without any errors.but it has problem in yellow color. by the way my erorr numbers are c2164 and c2162. Yes i used system clear. An i didn't check connector with any electronic devices but im going to. The table no have strange code line in yellow

check the fuser and or the IC chip as well.
i had one years ago that kept popping the IC chip for the fuser giving a fuser code.
2 fusers and 2 boards later we discover the IC chip is shared with one of the fuser circuits and it was a bad DV unit not the fuser.
i wonder if your situation is the same but reversed?

id trace the IC fuse and test it. it may be shared with something else causing the code.
on bootup the code would come up and fry the IC immediately.

IC chip you mean yellow imaging unit chip.? I replaced yellow imaging unite with another one. It throws c2164 and c2162 immidiatly

The manual isn't that great for this sort of diagnosis, but I'm making an educated guess that is the Yellow Primary Charge connector. Do you have a yellow IU to try? Or perhaps follow the high voltage cable looking for burn marks from arcing. =^..^=

Already tried another yellow imaging unit. The same code. Hv1. Prcb replaced. No luck

so maybe the HVPS backing plate? one of the springs?
i mean these doodads, they can short out i guess.

Today im goong to test wiring back of the hvi to charge unite with ohmmeter

Replaced charge unite with an old c451 charger. Machin started with no error. Throw c2164 two times. After that table number changed. Problem solved
