Update to the lastest kx driver

It may need firmware to correct the issue

Engine PWB communication error. Check all the connections on the board, including the cable between the 2 boards. If all else fails, replace the Engine PWB.

Agree with Billy . If that unit has a flat cable my guess would be thats not plugged in good

never ever run FW upgrade in case of F040/ F041!!!!
System will stuck in fw upgrade procedure!
I do not know the exact wiring between mpt and engine pwb at the moment, but i have had several F040 calls on Jupiter series because of broken wiring from mpt size switch.
Disconnect VC16 on engine pwb and run reboot for checking.
>>no more F040 > check wrining all the way in, mostly it breaks inside from mpt hinge
>> still F040 unplug all components from engine pwb without power supply and communication main<-->engine
>> reconnect step by step until F040 is coming up again

By the hell, never ever seen this kind of c-call history
something breaks down your main <-->engine pwb communication circuit i think
C0060>wrong main firmware on ssd card/ no match with engine eeprom> connected to hidden sub pwb
CF040>No communication with engine pwb
CF041>no communcation with scanner asic> connected to engine> connected to DP
C3800>no communication with CCD unit> connected to engine
C0180>no serialnumber> no communication with eeprom on engine pwb
That`s all related to engine controlling and/ or no communication between both pwbs
Reconnect ALL connectors on main and engine pwb
Because of this less counter, i do not think that`s related to mpt wiring.

kyocera 3212i still works but when sleeping after 2 hours, the machine will appear error f040, I have not found the cause, thanks!can you help me.

take care for U346 and change from more energy save mode to less energy save mode + set auto sleep to OFF.
the system will not sleep so deep after changing
It was also helpfull in past against F040 on other systems after coming up from energy save mode.
Also newest FW can be helpfull.
