I've been having a continuing problem with this building up of toner on the pressure roller. I have written about this previously. I have replaced the fuser on warrantee, increased the heat settings, tried different paper types, decreased density, set it on ecomode, updated to the latest firmware, other imaging parts have been changed while chasing a different problem. Cleaning pages don't seem to help, & I have talked to kyocera about it. I think the longest it has gone without hearing about it is around two or three months. Now it's tax season and it fills up every one or two weeks. The customer and I are quite put out by it. I don't know if there is any other possible way to correct it. I've seen some other copiers that have some kind of brush against the pressure roller connected to the frame. Would this help with anything if I could rig it up ? Is it futile ? I think I'm one step away from throwing it in the street. Thanks for your consideration.

Those are the things that I tried. If there is any kind of a "cure" I'm not aware of it. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:

2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

The only thing left it seems it could be is power related. If you have another 3150 id swap it out for a period of timeComment

Thank you for weighing in. This machine only has 2 fuser settings and it started out on the lower one when it began. Maybe it's a power issue. Unfortunately I don't have another of the same machine to try out. They had an HP in the same spot that never had this problem.Comment

Apply firmware 2NL_v5.02 (10/2017) or later to apply the following changes :
If the heat roller temperature becomes high, paper ingredients scratch the surface easily as the surface of the heat roller gets softened. Once the surface is scratched, toner stick to the position of the scratch and it becomes dirty, then, the offset image might appear.
[Change]
Lower the temperature by 5℃ at the time of the following control
- Control temperature during ready mode, secondary stable temperature* *temperature that the drive stops after completing warm up
- Change temperature correction during copy (Paper weight: Normal1, Normal2)
- Temperature threshold of the low temperature correction (18 13℃℃)
U161 [Adjust fuser control temperature]
- T2 (Secondary stable temperature) Change the default value: 170 165

I almost forgot this thread was still out there. We only use OEM toner. The heat roller we don't have a problem with. It just builds up on the pressure roller. As it is now, I have to periodically clean it if I'm nearby or if they call (again).Comment
