I have a Toshiba 3508A that gives a E010 jam. Paper lead edge we exits the fuser and is at the first set of rollers past the fuser. I replaced the fuser exit sensor and the exit assembly after the fuser. Every once in a while it will make 2 copies and then jam on the 3rd with a dark band on the trail end on the 3rd copy. Any ideas.

Re: E010 Jam Toshiba 3508A
Before you read any further, E010 is a very general jam code that can leave paper anywhere in the machine. When I see E010, I start down this long list of possibilities.
e Studio 2508A, 3008A, 3508A, 4508A, 5008A, Reuss, Misfeeds (E010) from #1 and/or #2. On jammed pages, paper is late (image early and compressed). Lower bypass guide is warped out at the center by bypass separation pressure spring. An oval wear mark becomes visible 83mm x 5mm. Replace lower bypass guide (6LK51400000).
As a close relative to the Loire Series, some of these are possibilities:
e Studio 205, 255, 305, 355, 455, Loire, e Studio 206L, 256, 356, 456, EBX Loire or Loire X, Misfeeds (E010), leaving an accordian at the registration roller with no image, and no latent image on the drum. Drum drive pin has snapped off at both sides. Drum doesn't turn. Press out broken spring pin. Re-assemble with new 2.5mm x 14mm spring pin. Spirol part #: SLTP 2.5x14 BK ISO8752. Rockford Commercial Warehouse #: R57900543. Rockford Commercial Warehouse, 8105 Burden Rd., Machesney Park, IL 61115, (815) 623-8400.
e Studio 205, 255, 305, 355, 455, Loire, Fuser drive gear 26/20T is stripped. Replace fuser drive gear 26T/20T (6LH53714000).
e Studio 205, 255, 305, 355, 455, Loire, Misfeeds (E010, E020). Image registration is early by up to 16mm. Registration clutch slips. No lead edge void. Clean or replace registration clutch (6LE57210000). Adj printing lead edge registration: 05-440. Adj lead edge void: 05-430.
e Studio 205, 255, 305, 355, 455, Loire, Misfeeds (E010) from #1 and/or #2. On jammed pages, paper is late (image early and compressed). Lower bypass guide is warped out at the center by bypass separation pressure spring. An oval wear mark becomes visible 83mm x 5mm. Replace lower bypass guide (6LH51460100) and mylar (6LH51432000). Or file oval the rear mounting hole toward the inside. Trim 3 wraps off of the bypass separation pad spring (46mm total length reduced to 39mm total length). Press the guide in while tightening screws. Install white plastic guide last.
e Studio 205, 255, 305, 355, 455, Loire, Misfeeds (E010) LT-R from tray #2. Lower vertical path clutch is installed with gear side in. Re-position the lower vertical path clutch gear side out. May need clutch replacement (6LH51224000). Adjusted tray #2 loop (05-452-1 to 30).
e Studio 205, 255, 305, 355, 455, Loire, e Studio 206L, 256, 356, 456, EBX Loire or Loire X, Misfeeds (E010, E020) every copy and print from every tray. After cleaning, image registration is early by up to 35mm, with a 35 to 60mm paper skew. Rubber registration roller does not contact the metal registration roller at the front. To confirm, remove the imaging unit and close the right door with LT paper between the rollers. The paper may be snug at the rear, but loose at the front. Remove broken door support strap, blocking the door from closing at the front.
e Studio 205, 255, 305, 355, 455, Loire, Misfeeds (E010, E020). Enduser has samples of image registration early by up to 30mm, which I believe are doublefeeds. Worn tray #1 paper feed rollers at 68K feeds. Replace tray #1 rollers (6LH34608000) and pickup clutch (6LH51224000).
e Studio 205, 255, 305, 355, 455, Loire, Misfeeds (E020, E010) intermittently. No leading edge void, and enduser copies with the lid up. Exit guide gets knocked off during many jam removals, breaking off the pin of the fuser frame. Replace fuser outer frame from scrap (same 205-455: 6LH55326000). Perform image adjustments for 3.5mm leading edge void.
e Studio 205, 255, 305, 355, 455, Loire, e Studio 207L, 257, 307, 357, 457, 507, EBX Loire 2 or Loire2X, Misfeeds (EB50, E010) from tray #1, after long wait. Pickup clutch slips, coming up short of the registration roller. Replace tray #1 pickup clutch (6LH51224000).
e Studio 205, 255, 305, 355, 455, Loire, Misfeeds simplex, usually prints (EB50, E010, E430). Slow return of ADU exit sensor S10 flag. Unwrap return spring 1/4 turn from the frame end, for ADU exit sensor (S10) flag. Trim about 3mm from unwrapped end and bend a new end.
e Studio 206L, 256, 356, 456, EBX Loire or Loire X, Misfeeds (E010), leaving an accordian at the registration roller with no image, and no latent image on the drum. Drum drive belt has de-laminated. Drum turns inconsistently. Replace drum drive belt (6LH03541000). Also used in all other Loire, Loire X, Loire 2X, and 5520/5540 EPU units.
e Studio 206L, 256, 356, 456, EBX Loire or Loire X, e Studio 207L, 257, 307, 357, 457, 507, EBX Loire 2 or Loire2X, Misfeeds (E010, E130). Flat spot is worn on tray #1 separation roller (35K prints). Replace tray #1 roller kit (6LH34608000).
e Studio 206L, 256, 356, 456, EBX Loire or Loire X, Misfeeds (E020, & possibly E010, EAF1) accordians at the upper fuser claws. Upper fuser claw is broken & worn through the upper heat roller. Rebuild fuser unit (6LJ14115100).
e Studio 206L, 256, 356, 456, EBX Loire or Loire X, Misfeeds originals intermittently (E860, E871, each alternated with E010), with MR-3022. Crazy quilt images occasionally. DF door sensors check OK. Test: [S11: 03-fax(ON) 7C, S12: 03-fax(ON) 7D]. Replaced MR-3022 assy. Replaced 1GB page memory M470T2864FB3-CF7 (C0-17502000). MFP would not accept RADF firmware v1030 (error R13), but works fine with v1010. System board replacement may be required at some future date.
e Studio 207L, 257, 307, 357, 457, 507, EBX Loire 2 or Loire2X, Misfeeds (E010) from LCF. Four or five accordian jams found in the fuser. Removed accordian jams from the fuser. Replace any broken claws.
e Studio 207L, 257, 307, 357, 457, 507, EBX Loire 2 or Loire2X, Misfeeds (E010) from tray #1, eS507. Flat spot is worn on tray #1 separation roller (96K prints). Replace tray #1 roller kit (6LJ13413000).
e Studio 207L, 257, 307, 357, 457, 507, EBX Loire 2 or Loire2X, Misfeeds (E010) from #1 and/or #2. On jammed pages, paper is late (image early and compressed). Lower bypass guide is warped out at the center by bypass separation pressure spring. An oval wear mark becomes visible 83mm x 5mm. Replace lower bypass guide (6LH51460100) and mylar (6LH51432000). So there you go. That should keep you busy for a while. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
