The pending legislation along with it's actual enforcement is indeed a volatile can of worms.
In concluding, I would add my own opinion in saying that, every child belongs at home with their "natural born" biological mother, regardless of their mothers own belief system. If a child has normal access to schooling and education, that access alone will generally raise a balance child capable of knowing the difference between home and normal outside social behaviour.
"Key point" is to ensure the child has access to normal everyday schooling, not minority or segregated schooling. Any form of separation however minor, leads to rivalry, hate and finally outright violence. IMHO, all immigrants coming into any country should have those children do mandatory junior schooling years in that countries public education system. The child's high school years thereafter can be of their own, or of their families choosing.
