MSNBC beat Fox News in the primetime demo and beat CNN in total viewers. Ali Velshi guest-hosted the network's 7 and 9 p.m. hours. A number of weekday hosts had Friday off.

CNN earned a cable news-high 453,000 A25-54 at 3 p.m. during live coverage of the U.S. Coast Guard press briefing about the submersible that went missing. USCG says all five passengers aboard died.

... and the other side of the story is the runaway success of Bidenomics! The USA has the fastest growing economy of any western economy and has added 13M jobs since COVID to post the lowest unemployment since the`1960s. Black and Latino unemployment rates are at historic lows.
President Biden signed into law several major pieces of legislation containing components intended to stimulate the economy and promote job growth, including the American Rescue Plan, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the CHIPS and Science Act and the Inflation Reduction Act.
The Rescue Plan and the Inflation Reduction Act were completely opposed by Republicans in Congress and passed with only Democratic votes. The infrastructure law had bipartisan support, but a majority of Republicans voted against it.Comment
